Separate sealed Bids for:
“Village of Phoenix Wastewater System Improvements” consisting of approximately 2,634 lineal feet of 12-inch through 24-inch storm sewer and appurtenances on Lock, Cherry, and Mechanic Streets. The project will also include abandonment or removal of existing basins and piping,and raising of sanitary sewer manhole covers to grade.
The project is to be substantially completed by November 15,2013.
Bids will be received by the Village of Phoenix at the office of the Village Clerk until3:00 P.M.(Local Time),on July 23, 2013 and then, at said office, publicly opened and read aloud.
A Pre-Bid meeting will be held from2:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. on July 11, 2013 at the Village Hall (New York Sweet Memorial Building, 455 Main Street,Phoenix, New York).
The project is to be partially funded with a combination of a Community Development Block Grant, US Department of Agriculture Rural Development funds and/or Environmental Facilities Corporation funds. The Contractor shall act in accordance with Federal and State Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise-Equal Employment Opportunity (MWBE-EEO) laws and regulations governing this project.
The Village of Phoenix reserves the right to waive any informalities, in any bid and to reject any and all bids. This is an Itemized Bid Document, the Village of Phoenix reserves the right to eliminate any Bid Item or Alternate Bid Item from the Contract.
A Bid Bond will be required for each Bidder. The requirements can be found in the Bid Documents Section of the Contract Documents.

Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the Issuing Office: Dunn & Sgromo Engineers located at 5800 Heritage Landing Drive, East Syracuse, NY 13057, (315) 449-4940 upon payment of $50.00 for each set. Bidders will receive a full refund of the deposit when all documents are returned to the Engineer’s office within 3 days after the award of the contract.
