On Monday, December 2nd, around 12:00 p.m., Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 100 block of Fordham Road for a report of shots fired. When they arrived, Officers did not locate any evidence of shots being fired.
A short time later, a 33-year-old male arrived by private vehicle at Upstate University Hospital suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his back. The victim is reported to be in stable condition, with non life-threatening injuries. A preliminary investigation has led Officers to believe that these two incidents are connected, but a location where this shooting occurred has not been determined.
