Syracuse, NY – Sarah Klee Hood, Democrat for Congress in NY-22, raised a total of $240,345.26 for her campaign in Q4 2023 – and has raised a total of $800,000 since joining the race. In a sign of growing momentum for her candidacy, Klee Hood’s campaign avoided the typical candidate fundraising slump of the off-year Holiday season: Klee Hood raised more in Q4 2023 than she did in Q3 2023.

Klee Hood’s campaign has received contributions from over 14,000 individual donors, including supporters from every corner of NY-22, with an average campaign contribution of $34. Klee Hood’s donors include the very people who make our communities stronger: public school teachers, nurses, farmers, bus drivers, and union workers.
“Everyday people are powering our campaign to bring Central New York values to Congress. I am grateful for every working parent, senior, union laborer, and community member who has chipped in whatever they could to our campaign. As the only NY-22 Congressional candidate who is a working mom of young kids and a veteran, their support means the world to me,” said Klee Hood. “Moms and middle class Americans deserve representatives who will stand up against corporate interests. By putting the people first, I know that our campaign will beat Brandon Williams in November.”
Klee Hood is the only elected candidate for the NY-22 Congressional seat who has not accepted corporate PAC money in any of her campaigns for public office.
