Dr. Weeks Elementary School Advertisement
The Joint Schools Construction Board (“JSCB”), comprised of the City of Syracuse (“CITY”) and the Syracuse City School Board (“SCSD”), is pleased to announce that a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to provide architectural and engineering services for the Reconstruction of Dr. Weeks Elementary School is now available.
The RFP for Architectural and Engineering Services for the Reconstruction of Dr. Weeks Elementary School is part of Phase I of the JSCB’s school renovation program that is up to Two Hundred Twenty-five Million dollars ($225,000,000) which is authorized by New York State (See Chapter 58 A-4 of the laws of 2006) to renovate seven (7) SCSD school facilities.
Requests for Proposals will be received at the Office of Management and Budget / Division of Purchase, Room 221 City Hall, 233 East Washington Street, Syracuse, New York until:
2:30 PM Thursday, August 30, 2007
A mandatory pre-submittal meeting will be held as follows:
Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 8:00 AM
at Clary Middle School
(Amidon Drive, Syracuse, New York 13205)
A mandatory pre-submittal facility walkthrough meeting will be held as follows:
Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 8:30 AM
at Dr. Weeks Elementary School

Requests for clarification or additional information concerning this RFP, except those raised at the meeting noted above, must be mailed, faxed or e-mailed by Monday, August 20, 2007 by noon to:
