Joint Schools Construction Board of the City of Syracuse Draft Building Commissioning Services RFP Advertisement for Public Comment

The Joint Schools Construction Board (“JSCB”), comprised of the City of Syracuse (“CITY”) and the Syracuse City School Board (“SCSD”), is pleased to announce that a draft Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to provide building commissioning services for the Cooperative School Reconstruction Act is now available for inspection and comment.
The Building Commissioning Services RFP is for Phase I of the JSCB’s One Hundred Eighty Million dollar ($180,000,000) school renovation program which is authorized by New York State (See Chapter 58 A-4 of the laws of 2006) to renovate seven (7) SCSD school facilities.
Pursuant to the aforementioned Chapter 58 A-4, the JSCB is required to seek public comment on its draft Building Commissioning Services RFP for a thirty (30) day period. Comments should be submitted in writing to Christine Fix, JSCB Secretary, Room 203 City Hall, 233 East Washington Street, Syracuse NY 13202 or by email to cfix@ci.syracuse.ny.us.
Comments need to be received by the JSCB secretary by Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. The JSCB is required to consider all comments but will not be responding to each individual who submits a comment.
