Excellus BCBS to Offer Free Health Insurance Eligibility Screenings Next Week
Posted on 03/12/10Syracuse, NY — As part of national Cover the Uninsured Week (March 14 through March 20), Excellus BlueCross BlueShield is offering free health insurance eligibility screenings for the uninsured who need help finding a health plan that is right for them.
Excellus BlueCross BlueShield representatives will help people determine whether they are eligible for government-sponsored health insurance programs — such as Family Health Plus, Child Health Plus, Healthy NY and Medicaid Managed Care.
The Excellus BlueCross BlueShield representatives, after evaluating individuals’ eligibility, can also help people complete the necessary paperwork. Appointments are not needed.
