The theme for this year’s celebration is “Continuing the Journey: Where do we go from here?” The awards are presented annually to people who, in the spirit of Dr. King’s “beloved community,” have made a positive difference in the lives of others but who are not widely recognized for their efforts.

Nominations may be made in any of the following categories:

•Youth/teen from the Greater Syracuse community

•Adult from the Greater Syracuse community

•Student at SU or the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF)
